Good evening , I'm new to the vw brand . I got a vw polo gt 1.0 tsi chz , the vehicle temperature rises above 90 on steep hills but once you let go of the accelerator pedal it comes back down to 90. Straight road and down hill it stays at 90 . What could be the problem ? Vehicle only has
40 000kms

Didn't solve the problem I'm avoiding uphills but the last advice I got from a VW mechanic is you should check your water pump the belt that's turning your water pump can have little bit of slack in it now it's not turning the pump as it should.

I don't experience any warning lights or beeper it just goes a bit higher than normal I don't think.in my case it will be the water pump as my mileage is only on 71000 kms

Good day, I replaced the water pump and put new belt on but the problem still persists, guage going past 90 on hills but once I slow down to 100 or 80 km/h it comes back to 90,this is really confusing....

Hi
No still no progress,I don't use the car a lot out of town so it doesn't overheat in town, was advised to change the intercooler but now I'm not sure.....
