Howdy Peeps,

I know I asked this in the technical forum but there were no replies - and Im very curious to know if it will work!
Is it possible to fit Golf/jetta III handles onto a Golf II?
It seems as if they will, but has anyone tried before? ??? ???

No they work differently, There are Golf 3 type handles for MK1/2's though sold by Goldwagen etc. But from what I have heard they can need a little adjusting to get them to work.

You also get them from autostyle. They call them polo type handles. Just check that they are unscratched before you buy them.

Nope, got them for my Mk2. And they definitely not those cheesy and ugly plastic jobbies.

You could also try doing a conversion to Audi door handles

Ok Firstly an updat hows the Uber Turbo MK2 comming along? Is it on the road is it still in pieces come on.... Dont forget I am supposed to be quite high up on the take me for a ride List.

Then how do you find the handles? Are they any good or similar to the crappy "pirate" door handles everyone else sells?

At the moment waiting for some serious cash injection which I don't have at the moment. And I haven't forgotten about the "list" :D

To be honest i have no idea. When I took my car to have the cage sprayed, the panelbeater was supposed to fit them, but had no locks to put in so he left them out. I think Stu had the same ones on his ex Mk2 Jetta
