I have replaced my own doorlocks before (bit of a mission) with locks sourced from scrapped parts, but it's a real raffle as to how long these last.

Surely there must be someone in JHB who can fix/repair the actuators? Replacing the mechanisms themselves with new ones is laughably expensive.

I see there are people in Durban and CT who fix these, but having trouble finding someone in Johannesburg.

Please let me know!
