Good day

Ive recently replaced the whole wiring Harnes from a similar golf,

since then i have no spark on the ignition coil

I use the 2pin coil, Just want to know how i go about testing if the coil is faulty
, i did a test light test , once i turn on ignition the negative on the coil turns to positive(is this correct?)

attached is the picture of the coil ,
and is there maybe a wiring diagram for this coil? ive only seen one for the older coil
