Fans constantly running when A/C on

Hi i have a 2008 9n3 polo tdi 96kw. Of recent i am experiencing a problem only when the aircon is switched on the fans for the cooling keep kicking in and out every 10 seconds or less continuously.

The clutch on the aircon engages when the aircon is switched on and also cools nicely. It's just that the fans shouldn't be running on and off every few seconds so often, it's never been doing this in the past. Can someone please point me in the right direction of what the problem could be or if they have experienced this issue before.

The problem that caused my fans to be constantly running where 3 fuses out of 5 where corroded and broken and even one melted. Replaced all 5 on top of the battery fuse holder and the problem is solved.
