Radio loses its settings when I pull the key from the ignition

Okay so where did they hide the magikal memory wire on the 9N polo .
Anyone know what color it is ?

I dont want to reprogram the radio everytime I start the car !

Who wired up the radio?

There should be 3 wires, 1 is a ground, 1 requires constant power and the other usually for ignition. It sounds as though the one that requires constant power is not receiving it. So I would check wiring firstly.

Black or Brown to ground

Red to IGN switch

Yellow to 12V/ B +ve
