Hi All,

Need help on how to fix my cruise control on my POLO 1.9 TDi 96kw Sportline. The cruise control light does go ON when switch is turned to ON position, on the instruments watch on the dash but keeps on blinking and doesn't engage when I press SET button. All my brake lights are working fine as I was advised to check them. Thank you in advance for your help.

Also check the clutch pedal switch

exact same issue on mine '05 Polo 1.9 TDi Highline (74kw/PD100) tested all switches and lights with vcds still nothing

im watching this.
during lockdown i retrofitted a control arm with cruise control. The Factory loom is in place so I used that.
control light on the dash comes on but does not engage the cruise control.

Did you set in vagcom that it has Cruise Control fitted ?

That or the brake light switch , both usually cause it to not function
