Who are we?

THANAS PTY LTD is an automotive company, first started in 2013, and now aimed at providing reliable, high quality, truly custom ECU and TCU tuning services, with locally developed tuning strategies, through the trusted dealership networks within South Africa and abroad.

However! We have recently expanded our core business to include an online store and vendor hub, to supply high quality, primarily locally produced automotive components through local producers and suppliers. This is accomplished through the professional vendor-based marketing and sales platform, thanas.co.za.

Please have a look around at the products and services we and our approved vendors offer, and if you consider yourself to be a supplier or producer of well-made, automotive parts please consider following our vendor application process, hosted on the site, to be a thanas.co.za vendor.

If there is somebody you know who is passionate about developing products or components for the automotive market, especially niche or small items (fabricated parts, performance kits, accessories, niche/platform specific products, anything that a fellow enthusiast would want to buy), please refer them to us, as we want to give small, local producers a platform to sell their products and grow their business.

We need your help to grow and in turn help other small producers/entrepreneurs grow!

How does it work?

1. Sign up/create an account at thanas.co.za
2. Follow the vendor application process, which includes providing your details, as well as submitting a schedule of your products;
3. We will review your application and discuss any items or issues we may need clarity on;
4. The approved items are then categorised and listed as being fulfilled by YOU!
5. All stock is kept up to date by YOU through the vendor portal on the site;
6. When a sale is made, the buyer pays us, you ship the item(s) and we pay you! The buyer and vendor are automatically informed as the order progresses.

This step protects both the buyer and vendor, as we act as an intermediary, protecting buyers from vendors that they would otherwise be wary of paying money to online, as well as the vendor from fraudulent transactions submitted by the buyer.

Think the biggest thing in our market is lack of service specifically from the vendors. Iv personally waited 6 months for a part that South African vendor 'had stock' & would be delivered 'today'. haha

Also ill be using the 'Bin' option for sure.
