Help needed / guidance

Hi guys.
Trust that you are well.
I need assistance.
I own a polo6 2012 model. I recently changed my steering to a golf7 steering. All steering functions work for the radio etc however the hooter does not work and the steering does not light up.
Kindly advise what can be done to get the above to work.
