Good morning all!I have a Golf 7 Gti and recently my Boot stopped unlocking from the remote!When I push the unlock button on the remote,the car's doors unlock but when I try open the boot by pulling up the "Vw badge" latch on the boot,it makes a "whirling noise" and the boot stays locked!I havent checked any fuses yet.Could this be a fuse problem;if so which ones and wjere are they located?I would really appreciate some help to solve this problem;thanx

No it doesnt at all!

Scan for error codes and see what is wrong then take it from there.

Thanx but I dont have access to such diagnostic equipment!I was hoping someone had experienced the same problem and could tell me what caused it and how they fixed it

I know most golfs are susceptible to loom failure between the body and the boot hatch. There are rubber grommets that sit either side of the hatch hinges. Pull them back and check for broken cables.

You can open the hatch from inside the boot. There is a circular plastic cap in the lower center of the hatch. Remove this and you should see a cam you can operate to manually open the boot.
