Car audio

Post by Freedom5991 » Thu Oct 10, 2019 5:46 pm

Hi members i need your help.

I'm thinking of installing a new sound system on my polo 6
1.jbl s-2-1024 10″ 1000w 2 or 4ohm subwoofer
2. 4x Kenwood midrange-speakers
3. JBL Stage Amplifier A3001

My worry is will the amp be able to handle the sub and 4x midway speakers?

Please assist.

The A3001 is a monoblock amp which means it has only one output channel.
It is rated at 300 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms, and the sub is rated at 250W RMS, so the amp will be fine to run the sub.

If you want to amplify the rest of the speakers, get another 4 channel amp to run them or get a decent 5 channel amp to run everything.

Keep it simple.

4ch amp
4ohm SVC sub
Split system

That is more than enough when installed properly.Spend abit less on the equipment and abit more on the installer. An installer can make or break a system regardless of what equipment you are using.
