Golfv blow light

Hi guys,could anybody tell me y the blow knob is lite when it should be off and the light only switches off when ignition is turn off,any ideas?

Uhm blow light? Perhaps you are referring to the blown bulb indicator?

Its the switch light that stays on ,on the blower. Where u set it for high or low

That light indicates that the AC is off/standby if I look at it. I will check this on my mates mkv to confirm
