Please can you supply me the GW part number for the rain tray (sits above the wiper motor) and also the rubber that holds it in place on a MK2 and also the price please.

Where did the thread for all and sundry putting their name down for a mk2 rain tray? Gather it was in the classifieds section and disappeared? What happened mr Goldwagen?

Hi all,

Have looked into the possibility of having them made. I have two, one short import style and one long local style - The import short ones look easier to replicate and are of better quality too.

However it works out to around R1500 per unit, would have to make and sell 10 just to break even :/ (cost of the mould/material etc) - This was an approximate price.

I recall that there was someone on gumtree importing them, if anyone knows who it was we could do a group buy.....
