Howzit guys
I wanted to ask can anyone recomend where I can have LCA's done in the west rand area, think the ones on my pgti are on the way out. Is there a brand of choice I should look at?
Also I need to replace tyres so for my budget I can go either Yoko A-drive R1's or Dunlop SP7000D's. Which is the better option? Car is used mainly weekends only.
Going to do tyres tomorrow(just front 2 for now, 5 is bit pricey)

Thanks bru! Goodness not as bad as I thought it would be.
Which would be better the poly ones as fitted at the superquick or are the 40webbed type as you are getting better?

Poly as ive heard are very good but makes for a harder ride.
the 4 webbed ones (same as cupra) are rubber, not as hard ride as poly but alot better than stock.

Are the 4 webbed(Cupra) a particular brand? Could I get them at any GW or could the guys at the Superquick source and fit them for me?
I'l go ask at the Centurion one during lunch.
Dont want to harden the ride any further. Coming from a comfortline the OEM ride is already quite firm for me as is.

Bru I know I have tons of questions and thanks for your patience.
How many bushes are needed? Could you maybe give me the details for that GW so I can give em a call?
Delarey is in the Roodepoort area if I'm not mistaken right?

If you look at it, it isnt alot of work to do once the control arm is off push/break out the old bush and press in the new one,
you will know if the joint is gone it will knock or rub and if they really bad your cornering will be abit shakey lol.
as for tyres, if you using the original denver rims 205 45's and anything with a w rating I have achillies on they hop abit under cornering but otherwise a decent life from them considering, I am probably going to get yokohama R/S 1's next.

I would rather go with the yoki's for the price, not the biggest fan on dunlops. Check on autostyle website, they are well priced on their tires

Wondering now if I shouldn't get rid of these cupra ones? Yes, they are much more durable, but as hard as Puni with a lekker poppie...

I decided to go with the Yoko R1's.
Got a pair of the Bilstein/Febi bushes as well. Just gota have em fitted.
The bushes are part of my preventative maintaince. Only have the car a month now but from reading the forum it's part of the usual with these cars so my mind will rest knowing I'v sorted it.
Saw the EBC pads at GW on Saturday. The yellow and green looks crazy from the usual stuff.
