GTi 5 DSG 60K service
Hi
My car is due for it's service in 600km , on 57000 currently . so i'm sure they will do the 60K service.
What should i ask them to check for while it's going in still under motor plan , as this will be the first service since i got the car (Got is on +/- 54K)
Car is currently heavy on juice normal drive 11L/100km and if giving it stick , 13L/100km
Also when accelerating it is sounds like it is sucking air and the car sounds like a diesel , not sure if this is normal with these engines.
Any advise will be appreciated
Which dealership should i also go to in the JHB South Area (was thinking VW the glen) , but don't mind to travel anywhere around jhb area.

Re: GTi 5 DSG 60K service
ok major things I would do is cam follower (probably making that diesel sound you described) and DSG oil must be done (hope you have warranty as this is costly)
Have you had your bottle of Hatorade today?

Your fuel consumption is perfectly normal by the way

If you can book it in with hatfield VW Bryanston
Ensure they check DV and PCV also just as a precaution

Re: GTi 5 DSG 60K service
This service should be oil, oil filter, pollen filter, air filter, DSG oil, brake fluid flush. Check you brake pads, discs, PCV, DV. They will do an inspection and report on what needs to be done.

Yoh, that's a high consumption figure! I'm averaging 9.7l/100km and that's mainly urban cycle.

Re: GTi 5 DSG 60K service
Okay car booked in for service with Eben.
Was
with the booking in process, damn they are good compared to the other dealerships. She updated all my details as it still had the previous owners details , when i already asked the Glen to do that a while back , but guess what they did not.
Will wait and see how they go about the service now.
