Looking for good Aluminium Welders

Post by Ridwaan87 »

Howsit guys,

Need to do the TSI mod on my K04 turbo (pretty simple mod). Does anyone know of/ recommend a good/ reputable place to get some aluminium welding done?. Magsta is helping me look for places in the Vaal area.

And there i was going to recommend Magsta.

There's a bloke who's done some work for me on my intercooler in Kempton Area. Welder yes, good yes, experience with car parts, no.

only shop i know in the vaal is the one near GW vanderbijlpark. Saw some of thier welds and they looked neat.
I can check with some of the contractors from work to see if they can assist.

If you want the job done right by competent coded welder you need to look at ISO 3834 level 2 certificated companies IIRC. There are plenty companies in Vaal that can do this, MEMP Engineering 016 986 3087 and Vanderbijl Hydraulic Engineering 016 986 1275, just some of the guys I use here at work.
