Nice to see so many Sportlines around these days and at events. When I still had mine there were not many entries in TDI class at all.

Hopefully will pull through.

Would be cool if we get a track laid out that has a little bit of speed or maybe flowing is the better word.

Looking forward to it. :grin:

Do we have to pre-register? Or can we register on the day?

Reason is not sure if I can make it, so maybe decide last minute...

:oops: Sorry, did not read properly :bang:

So we get 20% discount for payment before the event...

Yes, 20% discount for pre-registration. Also helps out some of the guys like me who don't like carrying cash around, and would have to make a special trip before the event to an atm.

Also saves the comm from having to deposit cash, which incurs some rather obscene bank charges.

*If you're not sure if you're going to make it, bring cash on the day, as we will not offer refunds for no-shows.

Hey gents, sorry for the hijack...

I'd like to take part in a few of your events this year.

Are these the classes for all club events?

A - 2.0 and above;
B - 1.7 to 2.0;
C - Below 1.7;
FI - Forced Induction;
TDi - Turbo Diesel;

I'm running a stock 2E (1985cc?) at the moment. Where would that fit in?

What are the other regs for your events?

Yes, when applicable, but you forgot the following classes:

M - Club member but non-VW car such as Audi, SEAT, Opel, etc...
O - Open class for all non-club members...

Seeing as you are not a club member, O...
VentoGT wrote:What are the other regs for your events?
Ranges from event to event...

Cheers

So, no, not really..?!

Nope, didn't forget at all. I run a 2E so clearly it's a VW, and if I was to participate I'd look at membership.

Do you at least do safety scruteneering, and are helmets compulsory?

Let's see. 1985cc < 2.0L Which means B class.

Not rocket science is it? Or am I missing something? :hi:

2E is considered 2L so will run in A class if a member
Open class if non-member

What's the use of the classes if a 1985cc engine is considered a 2000cc engine?
Then you might as well say a 1685cc engine is a 1700cc and a TDI is part of the forced induction class.

Pump your brakes bud, was just looking for clarity...
A - 2.0 and above;
B - 1.7 to 2.0;
2.0 seems to fall into both classes...
2E is considered 2L so will run in A class if a member
Thanks!
