Needle sweep should be possible. Does you car have auto lights?

Hey. To get the coming home and leaving home lights you first need to install one of these...

Hi Guys

Just a question without starting a new thread. Can the steering wheel controls for a 6r GTI be changed via VCDS? if yes... here is the underlying question...

On a Gti, on the MFD when in the "Audio" menu and you have CD in the player. The CD has multiple folders. Is it possible to recode the steering wheel controls to use the up and down buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel to skip through folders (while in the audio menu), instead of skipping tracks? The Back button would then just exit the current folder you are in and show a list of folders on the cd. with the center button selecting the folder and thus showing the tracks in that folder or at-least entering that folder to navigate those tracks?

Am i asking a lot here?

Cos the Audi system can do this... i just failed to understand why VW doesn't..

Yes you should be able to, it might be possible to change the setting on the mfd itself.

Yup just two things I wish I had on the Polo GTi, auto lights and auto wipers - miss these essential items that I had on my mk5 gti.

I guys, i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 2013 6R GTI, CTHE engine, and i want to put the needle sweep on my car. How can it be done, and what does it cost roughly. Any help would be great.

If it's supported by the latest revision of VCDS, it's as simple as connecting to the car, opening the module in VCDS, one tick, code, and it's done.
