16" BBS RX-II's (G4 Cabrio rims) on Mk2 GTi?
As the topic states, the Stealths have come off the Mk2 in the interest of ride quality and eliminating clearance issues on the 60 mm drop... I'm running a set of 15's in the meantime, but my tail's itching again..
So, I've been offered a set of 16" RX-II G4 Cabrio rims + cash difference in trade for the Stealths, and I'm seriously considering going that route.. Does anyone have a picture of these on a big-bumper Mk2? And should I decide not to fit them, what do these typically sell for?
Thanks in advance!

Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves of the simplicities of life - you only need two tools: Duct tape and WD-40. If doesn't move and it should - use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does - use the duct tape.

Similar to this, I think it can work:

the only problem you going to have is buying tires .
16" are expensive seeing that you going to be fittin 205/40/16
the tires in that size are usually not high speed rated tires .
rather stick with the 17 or 15

Well, I decided to go through with it, and I must say... I like 'em... a lot.
They need a set of spacers to help the offset and stance, but the look works on the car for me...
Thanks to LVH - hope you're happy with the Stealths!
Pardon the crummy iPhone pics!

Those look great.
Just a pita to try and find 205/40/16 tyres.
No one seems to sell them anymore
