is there anyway to bypass or remove the factory transponder immobilizer on a 2002 citi chico, or were can i get a wiring diagram to do this.
reason being the dealership wants to charge me R318 for the blank and R550 for reprogramming. tried to find somewhere else in east london
with no joy. also the car has been fitted with an after market system for insurance purpose

transponder as in on the tci TP100 unit?

Simple really, you need to buy a new TCi unit (R120) with a new cooling plate (R25) and a new wiring loom for the TCi module that connects to the distributor (R130), connect that and you have no immobilizer issues no more.
Get the tci unit from a 16V golf 2/3 and you have no more limmiter on the rpm as well
