Thanks, Im happy with my time, think I did well even though I tried not pushing and kept badly messing up the last corner..

Who drove the yellow F&S 2 door? I thought it was Shawn or Sean.. But dont see his name in the results?

That would be Marius. Not sure what his surname is but he bought the car from Shaun and put the engine from his gold caddy in it. That thing is fast.

Ooooopppssss.....

That was me! Braked a little late and went about half a metre or a metre into the bush and stalled the car. Lost about 8 seconds.

Thanks for asking. No harm - thank goodness!

M class is for VWCSA members who drive non-VW's hence the Audi S3, myself and Chris in his superboss are in M class. I did offer to show a few of the com guys the VW badge on my engine but they did not want to listen

the better driver

seriously though, at both the GYmkarting event and the Hillclimb, first place in FI Class was taken by a MK5 GTI, manual, and there were MK5's with same setup, if not better, being DSG that participated.

personally I don't believe that the DSG would fair better than a manual in these types of events.
You generally don't get passed 3rd gear.

and btw, I won both these events

Man this event has grown.

Would have loved to have joined but had to pick up my mom from the O.R Tambo at 11 so that really put pay to my day :(

Well done guys. Mr Moolo. Very impressive. Jojo. Flying. And Donald and Don.

I have only done this event once. Last time I went a citi golf jumped off the cliff and lanaded in the grass and I was meant to be the next car to go. Never ran since.

When I did go in the Turbo 20v Citi I only managed to do a 54 something I think. About 5 years ago the was only 2 entrants in the Turbo section. At least I came second .All be it to a 250wkw polo. I was 2 sec back with 118wkw.

Will make sure not to miss the next one :hi:
10 Mini Cooper S - Convertible , Interchange Yellow , AEM CAI ,Downpipe
12 Jeep Wrangler - Unlimited RUBICON - Dozer Yellow
06 GTi DSG - K04 - Some mods , 0-100km/h 4.911sec(G-Tech) , 1km-ODI 228km/h

Ex 16 VW Club Up - L/100 Monster
Ex 05 POLO TDi 96kw - Dimsport , VNT17b Turbo , Decat
Ex Mk1 Deco 1.8 20Valve Turbo .Ankle tapped a light post . It won : (

Having no turbo is like having never-ending lag
