PCD is the spacing of the Wheel bolts. 5x112 is spaced slightly wider than 5X100.

The Polo is 5x100 the golf is 5x112

Those replicas are available at autostyle...i think something like 4500 a set....cant rememebr if that was for 17's or 18s....I'd recommend 17;s for a polo tho. 18's look too big in my opinion.

Look 18's is a personal taste thing. I just think 18's without a decent drop in suspension makes the car look like a 4X4 with bicycle wheels.

But if u do drop it then the 18's cause rubbing problems.

I had 17's Santa Monica rims on mine and 17's (for me anyway) fit the polo better.

17's:

I seem to remember one of the users on this forum (Mo I think) having some real headaches with the 18 inch Gti replicas on his Tdi Polo as they were forever catching on the wheel arches etc. 17 " s are far more affordable and practical for the Polo. Just my 2cents

i wouldnt say 16" cost more but they are hard to find. not sure about SA but in nam they're a b!tch to get hold off. IIRC the 16" and 17" cost almost the same.

I'd rather go with 17's bru! 18's gave me endless problems with the drop!
