Hi Guys,
Is there anyone in SA doing a switchable Map setup for an ASZ Polo?
The reason I ask, I want to run a eco 'low smoke map for daily driving' and an aggressive map for racing.
Alternatively, I have a spare decoded ecu, and I could 3D print a dual ECU bracket and do some wiring magic to switch between ECU's loaded with different maps..
Thought it might be over kill to go this route if there is a viable solution in the market.

Re: EDC15 Switchable Maps
Toxic tuning does map switching on edc15 and I'm sure many other tuners also do it. Tuners came about with that a long long time ago.
Map switching is a waste of time in my opinion unless u have nitrous. Why just not drive slowly when U feel like it? What mods do U have?
If U would be kind enough to share your ideas on your wiring magic, because the only way I see that happening is by physically swapping the harnesses between the 2 ecus.

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on

Re: EDC15 Switchable Maps
Hi Ashveer,
Thanks for the reply bud.
This is good to know, I couldn't find any info online of this being done locally.
In terms of wiring, I would splice all the ecu cables and feed both ecus, with a toggle switch between the main power connection.
Main Power Mods:
Gtb2260
272 cam
120% Injectors
FMIC
CAI
Straight exhaust

Re: EDC15 Switchable Maps
The ecus are not gonna like being spliced considering they work with very small voltages and currents, the voltage drops and back feeding are gonna cause issues.
Anyways good luck, U have some decent mods

Re: EDC15 Switchable Maps
Thanks for the advice Ashveer.
I will refrain from going the dual ecu route.
Best Regards
