Hi there Everyone

I would like to know if someone in the Pta area can assist met with VCDS? I do have my own a registered Rosstech VCDS cable but I having no joy coding a new module of mine with my cable. Even the Rosstech forums are at a loss... I would like to try another VCDS cable, to eliminate the possibility of VCDS not being able to code the module. This will atleast help me on my quest and what to try next. Last option will be someone that use other diagnostic equipment like Autel or VW. PM if someone can assist me.

Hi buddy if u looking for something cheaper. I have my original vcds unlimited Vin for sale, purchased from Vagcafe still have receipt . Cable has been used about 4 or 5 times so is almost brand new. Hi guys

I stay in Backendown Alberton area, need assistance to scan car. It is a GOLF 5 GTi...car refuses to start and only swings.
Throttle Body does not switch on
No spark at coils
HPFP does not switch on.

When I turn key the lights come one, however Engine light does not come on. Also after few seconds the fan kicks in.

Any idea, please help!

Hi guys
Anyone with a vcds cable that can help me clear an airbag light on my wife's polo vivo ? I changed the faulty clock spring as the hooter wasn't working and the airbag light came on. All fine now but need to clear the light.

I have a POLO1.9TDI, and the alarm started making a strange noise. It sounds like a flat battery sound. Then all of a sudden, the remote won't unlock the car. Now both remotes have stopped working. VW agents want to book it in, for R1700.00 to find the problem? No can do!! Please help me I am in Boksburg area. :crazy:

Try replacing the battery in the remote first if you haven't already

I took out my glove compartment to replace a faulty recirculation flap motor on my Golf 5 and now I have an airbag light (forgot to disconnect battery when doing this) I now have an airbag light. Can anyone help reset it? I stay near Melrose, JHB.

Howzit. I’ve never posted here, but I happen to have a VCDS cable which works for I think any VAG car older than about 2017. I don’t use it anymore. I’m in Weltevreden and can help you out tomorrow. Just PM me or something.

Hi guys I have checked on the first page of people in my area Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg that can maybe help me to set my citi golf 1.4i ignition timing but see they have not been on the form for a while and I don't have the equipment to do it my self. I anyone is in my area and can assist me I'd appropriate it.

Hi. Hope someone can help. It’s been a long Thorne in my side an a while. Anyone with Vcds in cape who can set the correct channel on an A5 2014 stop valve for the climatic control? I believe it should be 73 but not entirely sure as the valve was replaced but code and flow issue persists.

Sadly this forum is very quiet in recent years, and with VIN restrictions on VCDS version 2 cables, it makes it difficult for anyone except those with the top level unlimited VIN version to assist people.
