It will fit, but why???
Do you want to convert from 1.8 to a 1.4? Rods are the same, you will need different pistons though as the bore are not the same.

NO
the EA827 series engines:
1.4 : 76mm bore -- 77.6mm stroke
1.8 : 81mm bore -- 86.4 stroke
even 1.4 CRANK with 1.8 PISTONS will be seriously low compression for a N/A motor. gonna be a dead donkey....

1.8 pistons would not work. The pin height is too low, IE the piston would not reach the top of the bore.
If you purchased 1.6 pistons it would run, but at a slightly lower compression and weigh in at 1.5ish capacity. It would make about 50kW at the flywheel.
For all the effort it's not worth it. GW sell new 1.8l cranks and they are reasonably priced. Even used ones in decent condition are available.
