Golf 6 - Where do I add Radiator Stop-Leak

Post by Myhero »

:hi: Hello,

I need to fill a crack in my radiator but I cannot find the inlet to add the radiator stop-leak directly to the radiator.

I was told my Goldwagen that I should add it to my coolant reservouir, I then contacted Liqui-Molly to confirm and they said I need to add it directly to my radiator - I've read online that it's best to directly to the radiator, not to the coolant reservouir.

Can anyone tell me how to locate the inlet to the radiator on a Golf 6? As it doesn't seem to be at the top of the radiator.

Thank you

Drain out some water from lower radiator hose, remove upper hose and pour into the radiator.

I don't recommend using this as a permanent fix, for an emergency - maybe.

If the radiator is stuffed, replace it. Even if it's with the cheapest quality u can find (try masterparts).

These stop leaks, wondarweld, etc can cause alot of kak on modern engines.

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on :driving:
