1.2 tsi cjz engine

Post by seunchz@gmail.com »

Hi. My polo 1.2 tsi cjz engine water pump packed up, Replaced it. Then noticed that it mixed oil with water. So im about to remove the head to check for blown gasket.
Just wanted to know if there's something else that can be the problem before I go to the head gasket?

Could be an oil cooler. Do a compression test before pulling out the head.

Good day did it overheat?
If it overheated then it must be a blown head gasket.....

Is there oil in the water bottle or water in the sump?

Unfortunately that's most likely a head gasket / cracked head / cracked block problem
