Hi Guys,
This weekend I installed the new type water flange with 4 pin temp sender, problem I am having is that the dicktator picks up an error on the water temp, so there is no reading, I have my purple wire from dicktator connected to the green/grey on the 4 pin plug, is there some reason why this is happening? The heat level gauge on the dash works perfectly, but car is jerking violently and has no power?
The one pin temp sender worked perfectly that I took out, I do not want to put the old flange back as I want the heat gauge to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Water Temp Error - Dicktator
There is no earth on the 4-pin sender so you have to supply one, in other words you need two wires to make it work.
Current rides:
VW Golf - 83 GT 2.1 16V 2-door with throttles
VW Golf - 78 LS 2.0 8V 4-door (2.1 ABF with throttles in progress)
VW Golf - '08 Citi Storm - 1.4 for now
Hyundai - 1.4 Getz (daily)

Re: Water Temp Error - Dicktator
The sender contains two separate water temp sensors - pin 2/4 operates the gauge and pin 1/3 provides the readings for the management. Put the earth on pin 1 and wire pin 3 to the Dictator pin 2.
