Hi guys , I have a 2009 VW Mk1 Golf CityROX and it leaks fuel underneath the driver side passenger door more or less.
I have noticed that it does not always leak ,only sometimes. Usually in the mornings ,and as soon as i have driven a bit it stops so it does not constantly leak only on innicial start in the mornings and SOMETIMES during the day but stops after a while when i drive for a bit. I have checked underneath the car and it seems to be coming from the tank and then runs down the seam of the fuel tank and then it just drips off of which i think is a fuel line /pipe.
Could it be the seam of the fuel tank that is leaking and if so how can it be fix and is it a big task. It leaks about 100ml of fuel each time from the dripping and obviously JUST smell fuel. any advise would greatly be appreciated.
