Recently bought my wife a new second hand car. I noticed now something else. JASO specs on the oil must meet SG+ standards.
Does anyone know which oil brand has this code as I can't seem to find this code on the websites. Just the normal SL, SM and SN codes.
I am thinking that an oil meeting VW standards where high pressure is present (TDi engines come to mind) will be fine with lubricating the timing chain.
Is it 502 or 505 codes? Please refresh my mind.
