Vw caddy 2008 diesel fuel pump access

Hello everyone i am new to this forum in seems a bit difficult to pinpoint the correct thread i am desperate for some advice, so i hope you are feeling generous does anyone know how i access the fuel pump on my 1.9 2008 tdi bls caddy it should be under the seat or in the cargo area but i cant find it, what am i doing wrong, is it there or do i have to drop the tank

You will have to drop the tank.

All the Caddy vans have no under seat access holes or hatches to get to the fuel pump in the tank.

I had to replace the seal on my Caddy's fuel pump sender unit and had to drop the tank.
