Golf V Turbo

Good Day
I am driving a GOLF 5 GTI and I recently took in my car to get it worked on, noticable things changed on the car are Oil Pipe Return and Airbox
For some odd reason the cars turbo is not kicking in anymore, but one thing I have noticed is that when I release the throttle i get more pronouced blow off sounds.
Does anyone by any chance know what could be the issue, the turbo was recently changed.

This could be a boost leak symbol. Or your actuator or dump valve connectors not connected properly.
