Misfire

Please help, I'm not mechanically minded. My 1.9 tdi was misfiring on 3rd cylinder. The mechanic said that he needed to change injectors. Then I was told injectors changed but still misfiring. Luckily I never by seconds. Now I'm been told misfire is gone, no fault codes coming up on scan but has irratic idle. Not idling steady but when gearbox mounting on the bottom is removed, idles steady.... They say the changed mounting, no difference. Any help on what could be going on here because I'm not sure what has been done and what hasn't been done anymore....

Find a new mechanic. You actually need the gearbox mount unless you want to rattle your engine mounts to death
