Golf6 2.0 Tdi intake manifold flap actuator P2015 code

Hi All.

Car has been to mechanic and confirmed P2015 and P2016 codes. Suggested repair would be manifold replacement, which I believe is between R8 - R10k on a good day. After some light reading I came across a machined aluminium block which is supposed to fix the issue with the actuator arm's over travel and then throwing the P2015 code. The mechanic said he believes it is a legit fix, but I can't seem to find the part in SA. Do any of you perhaps know if 1. This is a good fix and 2. Where I can source the part locally?
