Glow plug light flashing

Hi all. I have a 2016 VW polo Tdi 1.4(6c) cyzb.

The problem is I had the glow plug light come on and flash while doing some city driving. I immediately switched the car off and back on and the light disappeared. I proceeded to drive another 120km with the car and no light ever came back on again. Could this be a once off or do I need to get diagnostics done?..

The car is running perfectly fine with no power loss or no other issues. Even the brake lights are functioning.

I checked oil and water all are in good levels.

I'm confused as to what it could be.

This could be something as simple as one of your lights not working or a battery problem. Same thing happened to me and it turned out to be a blown reverse light.
