Why on earth would you rev the car then switch it off?

get a nice intake with a more open filter like a good quality cone, the flutter "echos" a bit louder thru the intake than the exhaust. Also a good tune amplifies it a bit.
It is an ingenius solution to a problem that should have never existed in the 1st place...

Tdi's dont flutter as a Petrol vehicle would do due to the fact that it doesn't have a throttle body or negative vacumm but yes I know what you mean by "flutter" intake noise from air hitting the blades when the intake blade is slowing down.

Sorry for the late respond , thanks for the help guys , my car flutters just as good as a petrol car and that's because when I rev to 2000rpm and turn the car off the asv closes acting as a throttle body,, however I can't get the asv to close when letting the pedal, any genius here to give advice on how I can intergrate the asv to close when I leave the throttle

Have a look at the above advise.

Diesels do not and will never make the same noises as petrols. The turbos are different and they don’t have dump valves.

Best bet is to do a full straight pipe exhaust with a time and a decent I take. Many strong and daily diesels don’t even have an asv anyway. Most guys opt for a “race pipe”.

Best advice, simply don't, get a decent intake and exhaust and remember you have a TDi.
