Mk1 New spec Golf Symphony Radio Fascia Plate needed please!

Post by Ashy4820 »

Hi Guys!

First time posting here, but have gotten so many tips and advice so thank you to all of you!

I've exhausted all my options in trying to find the original Vw symphony radio fascia plate. I need the 2 side clip covers and the bottom pocket section so I can fit the original radio in my car (mine came without a radio, so I sourced an original radio for it with the code)

I've tried countless scrap yards, suppliers and even the dealer tells me they can't get one. I can't go another week without music in my car!! It's driving me nuts!!

I am pleading with all of you, if you have fitted an aftermarket head unit, please can I buy the old surrounds for your radio off you?

I'm based in Pietermaritzburg but willing to drive anywhere in Kzn to fetch or courier from outside the province through postnet...

WhatsApp me anytime 0*8*2*0*6*5*6*7*4*4

SOMEBODY SAVE ME PLEASE :(

I have looked at those but they are made to fit standard aftermarket radios unfortunately. The original Symphony radio has an extra overhang at the top which tucks under the a/c button etc. I want to keep the car original hence why i got the original radio for the vehicle. If i have to change my mind now, i'll have to fork out another R400 for the surround and then 1k+ for a decent head unit :|
