Next Detail: c63 AMG 507

Post by Pristine Detailing »

With the boxster done, it was time to sort out this beast.
Car is brand new with only 900kms on the clock.
I was very very suprised to find virtually zero paint defects from the dealer upon inspection...just the odd light marring which polished off no problem...not even a swirl
So no fancy 50/50 paintwork pics

I forgot to take pics of the PTG readings however Note to anyone doing heavy correction on this car. The OEM paint is extremely thin especially on the bonnet.
Highest reading around 85 microns and the lowest 62 microns.

The only serious correction required was on the pillars and mirrors.

Polishing combo of choice with paint in this condition was Scholl s30+ on a Scholl orange finishing pad
Followed by AF Desire Wax

Onto the Pics:

My client seems to be getting all his cars from automania in Kyalami these days. When I went to do the Boxster he had a new M5 there, then came back with this monster...lol
