Hi guys,
How can get this working, I have tried this via cable already holding the voice button on the steering wheel but doesn't work (phone displays "available cars" and nothing happens) or do I need to perform a SW update on the radio? In the case of a agents charging extra within maintenance still, where can I get the a latest internet version of sorts to diy this via SD card, the update procedure doesn't seem like you need a doctorate in technologies to perform this.
Thanks

Do you have the MIB1 or MIB2 radio? (the MIB1 has a gloss surround on the screen)

It is entirely possible;e to retrofit the MIB2 or even MIB3 radio.... but it will take some research and it will be pricey.

I am in the same predicament...The sad thing is that a new radio costs R5000 and it comes with car play,
VW quoted me R4500 to "activate" this on my current radio.
