D3S Eurolamp 6000k Replacement HID Bulb

Post by kevi kev »

Hi guys

I need to replace my bulbs on my A5 and wanted to know if these Eurolamp bulbs are any good.

My car probably came with 4300k bulbs but these eurolamps are 6000k, has anyone fitted these to their car?

I had some fitted in my A3, they were streaks ahead of the flea market replacement ones and for the price they are very good.
But I would suggest replacing with a Phillips or the equivalent and shelling out the extra bucks if you want to make extra sure you are not disappointed.

Jeez that is quite a difference  , one question though, are the 6000k not too blue? I don't want the lights to be too different from the stock ones I have. I don't mind the blue as long as it's not too blue

They definitely are noticeably blue when compared to the OEM bulbs.
But not as blue as a cheap HID kit for example.

That looks good, I'm definitely looking at staying away from the cheap HID kit look.

Thanks bud.

Hi

I fitted these to my golf 7 and I am quite disappointed with them, main issues are that it looks too blue compared to the rest of the lighting on the golf and the lighting is not 'dense' enough, if that makes sense. I assume this is because they are 6000k and the original was 4300k. They have been reliable though, as I have had them for almost a year now, but like I mentioned above, I am not happy with the lighting.

Eurolamp is more blueish white at 6000K.

Our popular model to get close to OEM LED is the Philips Xenon WhiteVision Gen2 at 5000K matches the OEM DRL
