A4 electrical problem:lights

Hi,
I am trying to help a friend.
It is a 2006 A4 2liter.
After a wash the numberplate lights, rear foglights and boot opening stopped working. Boot can be opened with key but not electrically. All fuses fine,globes also fine.
Any idea where to look for the problem, any well-known problems with this ?
