Where can I locate the cam sensor? I have googled all over and can't find any reference to a cam sensor on this particular Tdi's.
My Tdi just cuts out while driving. Then after numerios attempts it starts, revs up, and cuts out again. After plenty attempts it will start only to cut out again in few hundered meters.
Goldwagen is selling cam sensors for these Jettas but I can't locate it on my car.

Re: Jetta 1.9Tdi 2003
No cam sensor but it does have a timing sensor on injector 3.
Some of those were caused by a flat battery.
Clear them all - take it for drive and see what comes back.

Re: Jetta 1.9Tdi 2003
[Edit: I see Stephan has already responded, but my post was finished anyway, so I'm going to submit it anyway, for what it's worth.]
The engine control module, at least in the Golf 4 TDI - presumably also in the Jetta, is mounted in the middle of the rain tray (as I was rather shocked to find out when I worked on my Golf's wipers). I wonder whether it has some corrosion on a connector, giving rise to a voltage problem (errors 1314 and 668).
The intake flap valve is activated by the ECM to force-stop the engine, e.g. when you shut the engine down with the ignition key. The mechanical default position of the flap valve is open, and the ECU uses a vacuum actuator to close it when required. I wonder whether your ECU is somehow activating the flap - which would obviously lead to the engine cutting out (error P3105).
If it were my car, I would check the connections on the ECM for corrosion, to start with. I'm still pretty new to the AHF, so this is just a shot in the dark, based on some of your error codes.

Re: Jetta 1.9Tdi 2003
Errors were cleared and crank sensor cleaned. Hasn't cut out again although I haven't driven far..only short distances. Will see once I drive a longer distance
