Polo 1.6 105k service?

Post by herco »

I own a 2007 Polo 1.6 Comfortline auto.

What needs to be done on the 105k service, other than oil and filters?

Is it necessary to do the gearbox oil and filter as well?

If its a longer list, I would not mind doing some of the things myself and have the service center do the oil etc to get the book stamped.

Edit: I would rather be proactive, to avoid future issues.

105k km service is a oil change service , change plugs , gearbox oil should be changed every 4 years or so.

Thanks Kavi!

Think ill do the gearbox oil just to be on the safe side. I got the car in Jan, so would rather make sure everything is in order.

Panic also has a good point but if its new to you a good full fluid change is worth it for piece of mind.

Unless you have the correct tools and procedure to do auto gearbox oil change it is safer to rather leave that for professionals than DIY'ing a auto box oil change and messing something up.
