Mk3 GTi Computer box

Post by Mk1Crazee »

Hey guys

So i'm buying a Mk3 Gti 2.0 8V.

The issue is that it needs a loom and ECU.

I have an Mp9 loom from my previous car with a ECU for a 1.4i

My question is.. can this ECU be used and just remapped?

Or do i have to get an ECU sepcifically for the 2.0 8V

Get your MP9 ECU detranspondered and unlocked for 2L.

Is the Mk3 GTI you are buying originally MP9 or Digifant?

Just go after market and all is solved ! Better option in my opinion.

I feel there is a power benefit from using aftermarket fuel ignition systems. In the long run you will need all the extra power you can get, mk3's have alot more weight .

And when/if do decide to modify you won't be limited ur ecu limits and one less thing to pay for later
