I haven't been to anything like this in years, wondering if this will be worth the effort and money.

If I was in CPT I wouldn't attend.

Edit: last event in CPT I attended similar to this was Spring Stance at Parow high. What a failure that was

As a newbie to CT, any particular reason why you guys wouldn't attend? Still trying to understand the scene down here :yawn:

iLy , try these events yourself then you will see wether you like them or not.
I've out-grown these type of events , the show and shine specifically. I'm more into racing now, so these events I find extremely boring personally.

CPT has a nice scene if you find the right people to hang out with.

Lol, I wouldn't go to any of these to socialize. Im considering going to look at some of the nice vw's cape town has to offer.

Its a bit far though, wondering if its worthwhile.

Haven't attended any of the k*k shows that happen in CT for the last 3yrs now...not interested. I'd rather use my time giving my car a good clean thencruising around with my Mrs. :cool: :cool:

The guys attitudes are appalling. :puke: Like Kurt said...I'd rather go watch some good track days at Killarney, or one of those by invite only Capestance hookups, those are always a WIN!

Same here dude, thats why I came to the forum to ask for more info. I'm clueless when it comes to these things :lol:

I'm struggling to remember the last event i've been to.

I went to checkout a vr6 "hookup" about 2 years ago, that was just pointless. Met at wembley then sat in traffic all the way to sea point, with several stops along the way to keep the convoy intact, just to park and take pics :bang: :crazy: Never again!

Petrol = wasted :cry:
Day = wasted :cry:

I had the same experience with the Cape Polo Crew. Met at N1 City McDz, sat in traffic all day and stopped to wait for a guy. Then traffic all the way again and then home...worst "car" day of my life

Im going to my first breakfast run this Sunday. Sounds good, plans look well organised.
The fb group is nice, guys are nice and friendly and quite busy actually. Nice specials on lots of stuff too, my colour coding was done by one of the CPC guys.
