Please go read the complete thing or if you lazy like me

This explains the difference between the 2 and it basically comes down to DPF or extended service intervals. Our diesel are of a poor quality and that is the reason why most of our vehicles never adopted the DPF system or extended service intervals.
The service books are guide lines for Europe and was printed and distributed with the cars when sold new in SA.
Even my 2007 Touareg 3.0tdi use VW505.01 but my service book shows i have DPF. When I phoned VWSA to confirm this the technical division come back to me stating i do not have a DPF and as a result only have to use VW505.01. I confirmed that again when i did the exhaust decat on my car (to my knolage you can not decat a DPF with out getting fault codes). Its only in the past 4 years where more and more vehicles have been build is SA with the DPF systems and when you put 500ppm diesel in one of these you end up screwing up the DPF and you will have to replace the unit.
So in short. Do you have DPF in your car?
YES . Run VW507.00
NO . Run VW505.01
