Nice intake for the TFSI's...

Post by ruan9n »

Made by VOLANT and apparently very popular in Australia.

I think the resonance on those plastic intakes are bad, I never really experienced my evoms as overly loud on my mk5. The full-on carbon apr carbonio I have now is very quiet...under load you can't hear it sucking but switching in peak boost you can hear it let go of 1.5bar.

I think it looks good. Price tag of $390 is a bit steep.
The syndicate racing one also looks good. Almost identical to the Evoms and apparently cheaper.

Carbonio or evoms?

APR sells the carbonio for R5000 through sportech then the stage 2 carbon pipe is R2000.

Evoms you can buy from Mooloo.
