Golf 4 GTI Exec - Issues

Sup guys

Yosh done a log on my car and looks like Lambda sensor needs to be replaced.
He said my map sensor is also not in correct position , and N75 wiring needed to be checked...

Is there any good places that i can take my cabby to with these issues?
Think GTEC is too busy at the moment thou....

Sup guys, i stay in florida ..

I managed to get Morne from VW bryanston to check it out as well...
He said i can leave my map sensor where it is for now...

My Lambda sensor definitely blown - VW quoted R2014 excl vat
Goldwagon quoted me about R1950 incl

will buy it next week then get someone to fit...

Ye down the road from me, have worked on Grants old cab before. To confirm its wideband thats faulty?
bought this g4 from a guy named Gareth... has Revo , wildcat DP and exhaust, forge tip, and 005 DV and flatbed...

same car? has revo stickers on both sides of car...

Bought the Lambda from Viper yesterday....

Just waiting for my mechanic to get some free time to install...
Once done will take her to Revo for a remap or upgrade to stage 2 .... :)

Golf 4 still my favourite!
Did it give any other error codes?
I just replaced 2 lambda's last week, then found out I have more probs...aiy!

The only other error was that there was something wrong with my N75 wiring...

i will get a log done straight after i do Lambda and will let you guys know ...


what probz did you have after replacing both your lambda's?

Throttle body malfunction, but not related from the lambda issue.

FYI - there was 2 different lambdas i could choose from.

i chose the Wide one instead of the narrow as VW advised the part i required was the one before cat... which should be wide.
Hopefully its the correct one

Lambda fitted and i am getting double the amount of KM's now! :hurray:

Previous lambda on cabby was bent? dunno how the hell that happened...
6 input lambda (wide) is the correct one for the 132kw 2003 g4...

Now just need to get Revo to log cos my cabby is sluggish...
