difference between AXX and BWA GTI motors???

Post by Donnie Darko »

What is the actual difference between the two motors.
I'm looking at a couple to maybe buy but have heard mixed things. Apparently BWA is the motor to have. Why is that?

Howzit Bud

Not sure technically why the BWA is better its just been proven on the dyno that stock for stock the BWA motors always made more power

I know Playback has a AXX K04 that's very strong so its not like the AXX is crap I just think the BWA is a better base to start from

BWA has better strength cams, lower CR, revised PCV and DV (these were still revised afterwards but).
