Are these the colder plugs? and if so, is there any benefit on a stock car, or a stage 1 car?

In theory they should help with timing pull so yeah

So just to confirm, it would be benificial in a stock/stage 1 polo GTI, but needs to be gapped to 0.8.

Then once more modding is done, then its better when gapped to 0.7?

What would the benefit be of colder plugs? sorry for the noob question

Just stick to 0.7 from the start. Colder plugs = less timing pull and better fuel efficiency.

The main reason for the guys running colder plugs is to prevent pre-ignition.
Once a motor has been modded the boost fuel and timing is increased, this in turn increases the combustion temps. By using a colder plug with a smaller plug gap helps prevent detination (Pinging). When a motor starts to Ping the ECU pulls timing to stop the pining. You can run a colder plug on your motor , it will help.
Build your car for yourself, not what an internet forum tells you.
